What a jet ski actually costs, hour by hour.

Guided runs almost never ask for a licence, because the guide is legally in charge of the group. Bare rentals are the ones to read twice: some are sold licence-free on restricted machines, others expect a boat licence you do not have. Operators set their own minimum age to drive and a lower one to ride pillion. Most rentals hold a deposit or a card imprint until the ski comes back in one piece. And wind decides everything, which is why the morning slots go first and afternoon trips get moved.
An island is the right distance for a jet ski.

The wind usually drops with the sun, which is why the flattest water of the day often arrives twenty minutes before sunset.
